What is Unwired?

How it works:

We have commissioned the WiMAX network with largest coverage in Nigeria . This network is capable of delivering broadband speeds (up to 2048 kilobits per second) that connects directly to your Personal Computer, Laptop or even to LAN. The network is made up of a series of towers, all placed at strategic locations for maximum coverage.

 
This allows us to deliver always on, high speed internet access, free of the cables, telephone lines, and costly installations often associated with traditional broadband access.

For the Corporate/ Enterprise segment customers, a complete bouquet of various internet/ intranet bandwidth plans is available for them to choose from. Wide range of plans from 128kbps to 1mbps ensures that you get the one which is suitable for you.

For example if a Bank wants to connect 10 new ATMs in Lagos to its network, it simply requires; putting 10 Unwired boxes at these locations. With a minor installation, all ATMs can be connected to the network. So, it is like readymade connectivity. Similarly, if a corporate needs internet connectivity, it simply requires fixing an Unwired box at the location & then providing shared or dedicated internet connectivity as per requirement.
