In this solution, DOPC converts certain local area or a complex into a hotspot. The area may be anywhere like community hall, swimming pool, waiting lobby, etc. With in the covered area, any subscriber or visitor may pick up internet signal from DOPC & can use it on his wi-fi enabled Laptop or PC. How do you get connected?
All you need for broadband Internet access at a DOPC WAH, is a WiFi enabled device - If you've got a WiFi enabled device then it's easy - forget the need for cables. WiFi (802.11g or b) enabled computing devices - Many laptops and PDAs now come WiFi enabled e.g. with a Centrino chipset. If your laptop isn't WiFi enabled you can buy a wireless laptop card. You'll then need to install and configure any necessary software on your laptop. You can buy a prepaid card from our authorized retail outlet in the Hotspot and start experiencing the broadband Internet!
