Wireless MDU

DOPC has always been committed to take internet to grass root level. To make internet a reality for people who don’t want to invest in equipment, DOPC has started a new MDU concept. The FWA equipment we use to deploy internet is a powerful system & single equipment is capable of serving many homes/ offices.

The MDU concept, as the name suggests, is useful for many people living in high rise buildings or having many offices in a single complex. DOPC installs the internet services for building or complex which are accessible to all the people in that building or complex without purchasing any equipment. Though it is single equipment serving to everybody in that building/ complex, different subscribers can choose different plans suitable to their requirements. For example, one subscriber may want to use internet on one computer only while another subscriber in the same building may require a bandwidth which is sufficient for 10 computers. Similarly, one subscriber may be interested in a 24 hours online service while the other one may be interested in night plan only. So, in essence, each subscriber gets the service as an independent connection for her & is not affected by what other subscribers are doing.

In MDU scheme, internet reaches to each office/ home via CAT5 cable. In case, it is not possible to run CAT5 cable in any building, DOPC has another technology called Powernet
